Ewa Salwinski

Ewa Salwiński is a sculptor and educator born in 1960 near Krakow. She graduated in sculpture from the renowned Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where she also worked as an artistic and research assistant. After moving to Germany, she received scholarships from, among others, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Institute for the Study of Lippis, and in 2001, she was awarded the Jakob Eschweiler Foundation Prize. She lives and works in Cologne. She is a close collaborator of Wojtek Figielski, assisting him, among other projects, with the publication of a book commemorating the 40th anniversary of his artistic career.
